Abstract
This article analyzes the criteria for defining annotation units within the specific strategies of gender-related politeness-a topic of current relevance. It posits that the linguistic annotation of gender-specific politeness strategies serves as an intermediary stage between natural text and its computer-processable model. During the annotation process, a specific phenomenon within the text is identified, its boundaries are established, and a description based on a pre-developed classification is assigned to it. Consequently, plain text is transformed into linguistic data that can be searched, quantified, and compared, facilitating identification based on established criteria.References
