Abstract

This research analyzes the methodological and theoretical foundations of linguistic modeling in the context of socio-pragmatic studies. The work emphasizes the importance of combining theoretical and empirical approaches in linguistic research, drawing on the ideas of A. Losov, who highlighted the necessity of analyzing linguistic structures within real communicative contexts. Furthermore, the study explores Y. Plakhotnaya’s pragmatic model of political discourse, which explains the mechanisms of speech influence, audience manipulation, and the cognitive factors shaping communicative processes. The integration of linguistic modeling with socio- pragmatic analysis provides a deeper understanding of how language functions within social and institutional settings.
