Abstract
This article presents a systematic analysis of the synthesis of biopolymer- nanocomposite materials grounded in green chemistry principles, together with their structural-functional properties and prospects for use in eco-friendly packaging. The physicochemical mechanisms underlying improved antimicrobial and barrier properties through reinforcement of chitosan and cellulose matrices with zinc oxide and silver nanoparticles are elucidated. The findings substantiate the prospects of creating a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based polymers.References
