Abstract
Geometriya qadim zamonlardan boshlab, inson tafakkuri va ilmiy izlanishining ajralmas sohasiga aylangan. Uning asosiy vazifasi – olamdagi figuralar, chiziqlar va shakllar o‘rtasidagi munosabatlarni tartibli, qat’iy va aniq ifodalash hamda bu munosabatlarning isbotini matematik asosda taqdim etishdan iborat. Vaqt davomida geometrik teoremalarni isbotlash uchun turli yondashuvlar va metodlar ishlab chiqildi, bu jarayonda koordinatalar metodining ahamiyati va o‘rni tobora ortib bordi. Zamonaviy ta’limda bu usulning har bir bosqichi chuqur va sinchiklab o‘rganiladi, sababi u nafaqat isbotlash jarayonini soddalashtiradi, balki mantiqiy tafakkurni mustahkamlaydi, tahlil va umumlashtirish malakalarini kengaytiradi.
