Abstract
This article investigates the pedagogical potential of interactive web-quest technologies in fostering intercultural communicative competence (ICC) among university students studying German as a foreign language. The research theoretically substantiates and empirically validates a set of essential pedagogical conditions for implementing web-quests: motivational-axiological, content-technological, and organizational-evaluative. Qualitative analysis of a pedagogical intervention demonstrates that this technology significantly enhances students' cognitive understanding of DACH cultures, pragmatic communication skills, and affective empathy. The study concludes that web-quests serve not merely as digital tools, but as comprehensive pedagogical environments that bridge the gap between linguistic knowledge and authentic intercultural interaction.References
