Abstract
This paper analyzes the role and methods of using linking words in teaching dialogic speech in a foreign language teaching. The article examines in detail the importance of linking words as a linguistic means of connection that transforms disjointed phrases into a natural, logical, and fluent flow of speech. The key functions of linking words are described: directing the interlocutor's attention, facilitating communication, and assisting the listener in cognitive processing. Particular attention is paid to practical strategies for transitioning from academic texts to spontaneous communication, as well as the importance of maintaining a balance between formal and informal situations to achieve genuine authenticity.References
