Abstract
This article analyzes the concept of medical error, its essence, and the main types encountered in medical practice. Diagnostic, therapeutic, technical, and organizational errors arising in a physician’s professional activity are identified, and their causes are examined. The article also considers the concept of violations of medical rules, namely non- compliance with medical standards, clinical protocols, and professional ethical norms. In addition, the impact of such violations on patient health and their legal consequences, including the grounds for civil, disciplinary, and criminal liability, are analyzed. The study substantiates the necessity of reducing medical errors and improving the culture of safety within the healthcare system.References
