Abstract

This article examines the role of digital literary texts in contemporary literature classrooms and their methodological potential for supporting collaborative interpretation. The study analyzes major types of digital literary texts, including hypertext fiction and digital storytelling formats, using examples such as “Afternoon, a story”, “The Little Prince” and “The Great Gatsby”. The findings show that digital literary texts enhance students’ engagement, interpretive competence, and multimodal literacy. They also support student-centered learning environments by encouraging discussion, comparison of perspectives, and active participation in meaning construction. The article concludes that collaborative interpretation of digital literary texts improves the effectiveness of literature teaching in modern higher education.
