Abstract

This study presents a cross-linguistic analysis of scientific discourse, focusing on stylistic and grammatical features in English and Uzbek. The research applies a comparative and descriptive methodology to examine differences in sentence structure, lexical choices, and translation strategies. The findings indicate that English scientific texts prioritize clarity, conciseness, and reader-oriented expression, whereas Uzbek texts demonstrate a higher degree of formalization, nominalization, and explicit logical cohesion. The paper also considers recent trends in global academic writing, including simplification and the influence of digital communication.
