Abstract
This study explores the linguistic challenges involved in translating artificial intelligence (AI) terminology from English into Uzbek. As AI rapidly develops, new technical terms emerge, many of which lack direct equivalents in Uzbek. The research examines lexical, semantic, morphological, and cultural difficulties that arise during translation. Using qualitative analysis of selected AI terms, the study identifies patterns of borrowing, calque translation, adaptation, and neologism formation. The findings demonstrate that translators face issues related to conceptual accuracy, terminological consistency, and linguistic compatibility. The research highlights the importance of developing standardized Uzbek AI terminology to ensure clarity, precision, and effective academic and technological communication.References
