Abstract
The integration of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in English Language Teaching (ELT) has significantly transformed modern educational practices. While these innovations provide numerous opportunities for personalized learning, interactive instruction, and increased accessibility, they also introduce critical challenges. This article examines the major issues associated with the implementation of AI and digital tools in ELT, including teacher readiness, learner dependency, ethical concerns, and assessment reliability. The study highlights the need for a balanced and pedagogically sound approach to technology integration. The findings suggest that effective use of AI in ELT requires proper training, critical awareness, and strategic implementation to enhance learning outcomes without compromising academic integrity.References
