Abstract
In the context of globalization and rapid technological advancement, foreign language education has undergone significant transformations. This study investigates the integration of communicative teaching methods, psychological factors, and intercultural competence in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. The research highlights the importance of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) as a dominant pedagogical approach that promotes real-life communication and learner- centered instruction. Furthermore, it explores key psychological variables such as anxiety, motivation, and self-efficacy, which significantly influence language acquisition. The study also emphasizes the role of Intercultural Communication competence in fostering effective communication in diverse cultural contexts. Using a qualitative research design, the article synthesizes theoretical frameworks and empirical findings from existing literature. The results demonstrate that an integrated approach enhances learners’ communicative performance, reduces anxiety, and promotes cultural awareness. The study concludes with pedagogical implications for teachers and recommendations for future research.References
