Abstract

Maqolada Gafur Gulomning “Shum bola” va Gerald Darrellning “My Family and Other Animals” asarlari misolida ingliz hamda o‘zbek adabiyotida yumor yaratishning stilistik mexanizmlari qiyoslanadi. Qiyosiy stilistika, yaqin o‘qish va funksional-pragmatik tahlil yordamida kinoya, mubolag‘a, dialog, xalqona nutq, xarakter yaratish va komik vaziyatlar o‘rganiladi. Natijalar ikki an’anada umumiy vositalar mavjudligini, biroq o‘zbek yumori ko‘proq ijroviy va ijtimoiy moslashuvchan, ingliz yumori esa kuzatuvchan hamda tasviriy yo‘nalishga egaligini ko‘rsatadi. Bu farqlar madaniy me’yorlar bilan izohlanadi.
