Abstract
This article analyzes the application of important branches of applied art-ceramics and glassmaking-in both modern and historical architectural structures. It briefly outlines the origins of ceramic art, its stages of development, and its role in architecture as a decorative medium. Additionally, the article examines, through specific examples, the harmonious integration of ceramic and glassmaking elements in significant architectural buildings in the city of Tashkent. In particular, it analyzes the artistic and functional significance of ceramic decorations in the Tashkent State Circus building. The expression of glassmaking art in architecture is demonstrated through the examples of the “Alisher Navoi,” “Kosmonavtlar,” and “Paxtakor” metro stations, as well as the building of the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan.References
